Five-year-old Ryder Wells from North Carolina survived a brutal rottweiler attack at 21 months, losing half his face, teeth, and suffering a broken arm and punctured lung. Despite 50 surgeries and doctors’ doubts, Ryder has shown incredible resilience.
Sadly, he faces bullying, with people calling him names like “monster” and shouting “ew.” His mom, Brittany, is heartbroken but reassures him that he is beautiful and unique. She hopes Ryder’s story will raise awareness about bullying and encourage kindness toward those with facial differences.
We must teach our kids to not single out those that look different and be kind to help children like Ryder live the happy life they deserve. Please share to show your love for this little boy and let him know he is beautiful both inside and out.
