Ellen DeGeneres reveals cosmetic procedures she ditched

Ellen DeGeneres is done with a pair of cosmetic procedures.

The comedian, 66, addressed her appearance in Netflix’s “Ellen DeGeneres: For Your Approval” special, which premiered on Sept. 24.

“If I look older than when you saw me last, it’s because I’m older than when you saw me last,” she joked. “And also I stopped doing Botox and filler.”

DeGeneres noted that she had work done “back when [she] didn’t care what other people thought of” her.

“I used to say that I didn’t care what other people thought of me. I realize now, looking back, that I said that at the height of my popularity,” she added.

“Such a waste of time to worry about what other think of us. Just a waste of energy. We’re just guessing. We don’t know. It’s impossible to guess what people are thinking.”

Elsewhere in the comedy special, the former “Ellen DeGeneres Show” host detailed the health issues she has been battling.

She was diagnosed with “full-on osteoporosis” after taking a “stupid bone density test,” with DeGeneres comparing herself to a “human sandcastle.”

She quipped, “I don’t even know how I’m standing up right now. … I could disintegrate in the shower.”

The Daytime Emmy winner, who was also told she has arthritis after experiencing “excruciating pain,” confessed, “It’s hard to be honest about aging and seem cool.”

As for her mental health struggles, DeGeneres explained that she learned she has OCD and ADHD while in therapy.

“I think I’m well-adjusted because I obsess on things, but then I don’t have the attention span to stick with it, and I quickly forget what I was obsessing about in the first place,” she joked. “So, it takes me all the way around to being well-adjusted, I think.”

The actress began therapy in order to combat “hatred” from fans over staffers’s 2020 claims that she had created a toxic workplace environment on the set of her talk show.

“When you’re a public figure, you’re open to everyone’s interpretation,” she said of the scandal in her comedy special. “But you know the truth, and that’s all that matters.”

“The Ellen DeGeneres Show” came to an end in 2022 after 19 seasons.
