Despite Robin’s problems, Susan was always there for her husband, and they had a very honest relationship. Their love and friendship got deeper with every year that went by, and they frequently talked about their greatest fears, disappointments, and accomplishments.
Regretfully, Susan lacked complete knowledge and was unable to comprehend the reasons behind her soulmate’s difficulties. Though Susan was helpless in many ways, the couple did manage to share some lovely and bright moments in Robin’s final months. In her first interview following her husband’s death, Robin’s widow made the decision to come forward and reveal to the public the true cause of her husband’s death.
“Robin was killed by Lewy body dementia. That’s what caused his death. Anxiety was more prevalent than depression and accounted for a larger portion of the situation than depression. And she was so anxious,” she remarked. The late actor’s doctors explained how he must have been suffering through hell in the final months of his life. One of the most severe cases of Lewy body dementia that medical professionals had ever seen was his. The disease known as Lewy body dementia is terrible.
It is fatal. It is rapid and progressive, according to Dr. Bruce Miller, director of Memory and Aging at the University of California, San Francisco, who spoke with Today. Susan was finally able to fill in a lot of gaps and understand why Robin acted the way he did after learning of her husband’s sickness. “Knowing it had a name relieved me. Robin and I had really felt like we were being chased by something invisible. And it felt like whack-a-mole symptoms. She continued, “I left there knowing the name of the illness, the thing that Robin and I had been looking for.”
Cause of death for Robin Williams: On August 11, 2014, Robin Williams was discovered dead in his bedroom at his Paradise Cay, California, home. The Marin County Sheriff’s Office reports that suffocation by hanging was the cause of death. During an emotional interview in 2015, Susan recalled her last discussion with her spouse and tears came down her face. Robin had intended to check into a facility for neuropsychological testing a week before he passed away. Robin inquired about Susan’s desire for a foot massage the night before he passed away. Naturally, Susan declined the offer because she couldn’t have predicted what was about to happen. His sad eyes and stare would always stay with her.
Then he departed. Once or twice more, he entered the room and murmured, “Good night, my love.” Susan responded, “Good night, my love.” Funeral for Robin Williams Although it’s unknown if Robin’s family arranged a private funeral, we do know that his remains were cremated at San Anselmo’s Monte’s Chapel of the Hills. His ashes were dispersed across San Francisco Bay on August 21. The actor had loved and lived in the area for nearly 50 years; he felt most at peace there. Every time someone ends their life, it’s sad.
While I believe people should never go that far, there are occasions when I can understand why. It’s unfortunate that nobody was aware of Robin’s precise circumstances. Not only was he a fantastic actor and comedian, but he was also a wonderful person!
